   Spent the Mem. Day weekend up at camp on Haigs pond. got out Sunday Am in the Yak and had some success with the Callico until a T Storm chased me off the pond.
I made a B...Line for shore before I got soaked and left the crappies in a mesh bag hanging over the side of the yak in the water.
BIG MISTAKE!....Mr Snapping turtle had other ideas.

	HAD THAT HAPPEN WITH TROUT ONCE. ALSO IN CANADA HAD A 25LB PIKE EAT A WALLEYE OFF MY STRINGER. HE GRABBED IT AND DID AN ALLIGATER ROLL WITH IT, TIL IT TWISTED THE METAL CLAMP OPEN.

	Same thing happened to me once in Canada! We had a stringer full and when we went back to get the stringer, all we had left were heads!
