From what i see on the Derby site they moved it to Feb. now the lake went up and they had open water all around the shore line, check out the site and see the pictures.

The rain made the water come up with the run off of melting snow/ice. Said it won't be long until it is back down said they had 11inches of ice on the lake but thin around the shore.

NEW DATE FEB 13TH.  THEY HAVE CONE OUT NEAR THE EDGES THAT'S NOT A GOOD SIGN. WORKING CAN'T ATTEND

Water is up to the edge of the parking lot did you see the large rocks in the pics, I thought it might be some structure that I didn't see beforeLOL NOT...
